Apparently this happened around May, but since I found it out recently (I'm quick, am I not?), I'm sharing it with those who haven't yet been stunned with these news:




Countless DA rants about why anime art is so popular here seem to be... funny and insignificant now.

I have little against Takashi Murakami's experiments with merging high and low art together, it's his artistic way followed by certain philosophy, so OK - but this is definitely something I wasn't expecting.
15 millions.... I wonder if anyone would give such sum for Mona Lisa or Aphrodite of Milos nowadays?

Hell, I want 15 millions too! 15 millions for everyone! :D
