25.04-9.05 - Greece ^_^!

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 24, 2008, 1:55 PM

edit:

off we go :) See you after May 9th :blowkiss:!

--------------------------------------------

Time to change my journal... How are you, DeviantArt?:)
Me - I'm STILL trying to cope with many issues, the biggest of them STILL being my laziness ._.

Any more news? At the end of April me and my friend are going on a trip to Greece. Can't wait!
Anyone from Greece or near - how's the weather?
I have enough of being transparent - besides all wonderful things Greece has in offer, I want to get at least a little bit of suntan, goddamnit! XD

BTW. I can see there's a lot of fuss about Orphan Works bill... I have to say, that when I was reading many of those mostly aggresive journals, posts, articles and comments I got nervous for a bit, but then I've decided to be reasonable and wait a bit to see what's going to happen.

There always have been many controversial, funny or ridiculous ideas for bills in practically every country - they've also bringed a hell lot of unverified rumours (aka. bullsh*t), especially around the Net.

Not so long ago in our country we went through a bit of a drama, when some reliable sources brigned to light, that our clever governmental minds had plans to classify ALL websites as... press.
Can you imagine a situation, when you'd have to run to your local department to register your personal blog or fansite as monthly magazine or daily newspaper - just how ludicrous is that? :D

Happy New Year!

Journal Entry: Mon Dec 31, 2007, 4:28 PM

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

May all of us live happily and all wishes come true

...Obviously I did want to draw pictures for both Christmas and New Year, but I didn't mange to finish anything in time - yet, from this year I promise myself to work a lot harder and definitely a lot more efficiently... I wish this to myself every year, but now I believe it's time for a change to better :)

Apparently, I'm not dead...

Journal Entry: Tue Dec 18, 2007, 8:54 AM

... although sometimes I feel like a zombie :zombie:

I thought that perhaps this year at my uni won't be so hard. Well, I simply couldn't be more wrong. Eeek!

Not only I'm having rough time with completing materials for my thesis - there are so many other things to do and so many unexpected problems, popping out of nowhere... many of them being technical AND simply irritating.
First - my Internet hasn't been working properly for a long while and a moment after it was completely fixed my computer went crazy!

It's a good thing I have Behemot* and 80% of all my data already transferred into it - otherwise the only thing I could do at Christmas holiday time would be pulling my hair out!

I still have some comissions to finish.... yes I do. I'm sorry that this is taking so long ;_; I'm doing the best I can.

And I really, really, really need to update my gallery =_= Send some delayed mails and notes... and Xmas cards.... Complete presents (I can already hear an echo from the inside of my wallet)... Clean the house in 100%... Decorate the tree.... and take my cats to the vet. Argh.

...

Now that's quite a cheerful note, isn't it?

No worries - I'll stop right here and take a tiny bit of time to pull myself together and do something useful, eventually :)

I got shot.. er... tagged :D

Journal Entry: Mon Sep 24, 2007, 2:54 AM

Tagged by :iconarunawolf: (you evil girl >D). According to tag rules:

1. post these rules
2. post 8 random (hopefully interesting) facts about yourself
3. tags should write a blogpost of these facts
4. at the end of the post 8 more bloggers are tagged and named
5. go to their blog and leave a comment telling them they're tagged

About me ;) :

1. I love cars and car-driving - my driving style is quite aggressive ^_^;
2. I think my taste is changing. Now I quite like cheese and can drink coffee and I couldn't do it even half a year ago :o
3. I hate fish - that didn't change. I can't even stand the smell,
4. I think I'm addicted to eBay... and Allegro (polish site). I don't buy much, but I spend a lot of time searching for some interesting auctions.
5. I have small collections of shells, unusual tinsels/ornaments, key-chains, feathers and jewelry,
6. I like wind chimes, dreamcatchers and basicaly every ornament that is pensile,
7. When I was a kid I was terrified of storms. Now I am waiting for them, just to observe lightnings,
8. I'm extremely lazy... but you know that already xD

I tag everyone who still wants to be tagged :D

It's been a while since I last posted something in my gallery or in journal. AGAIN.
Hopefully, that will change after a while. I have lots of stuff to finish/add :floating:

:blowkiss: to you all.

It's back! Kittens soon! And "MoM"

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 27, 2007, 2:08 PM

...again.
(what's with these journal titles, anyway >_>?)

1.) Yep, my gallery's almost fully recovered and back :)

I have to say, that I was about to give it up without that much grief, if it was a lost case. However I'm glad that these bugs seem to be repaired by DA staff - and hopefully no other Da members should have problems alike.

2). Another news is that, well.... BOTH MY CATS ARE PREGNANT!!!
Does anyone want a kitten? I mean... I write this in English, but I'm aware that only Polish deviants might be interested. Let me know, though.
Anyway - they will be born somewhere in August, however I have no idea how I am going to survive this since:

a). Bast and Astrea, although mother and daughter, hate and compete with each other,
b). How could Astrea get a large belly I have no idea - she got her anti-kitten injection just in time! But this could mean some problems while delivering kittens and surely with raising them (hormonal injections mess with maternal instincts),
c). How many of them will there be, actually >_>?

Anyway - I have no idea in what colors there might be. Last ones (Bast's) were tabby and one was actually our very first three-colored ^_^
So they might end up in every possible color, but most probably they will be black, black and white or tabby. Some of the might be long-haired, but for now only Astra got her grandmom's long-hair genes.

3). And I'm sorry, but I won't give this up yet, so... again...

Does anyone know where I can find a series of documentaries called "Myths of Mankind"?

They were filmed by Roel Oostra (from Netherlands) and I watched them a while ago at PLANETE channel.

Unfortunately, till today I can't find any trace of DVD's, VCD's (or perhaps VHS?), torrents, files, etc., with them anywhere... or with reasonable price :|

The only info from the Net I found out is this :pointr:

[link]
[link]

And this peculiar .pdf file, which looks promising, except... :pointr:
[link]

(check out these prizes! How old is this stuff? XD)

If there's anyone here who know how can I get these films? I really liked them, they were so nicely-done, light to watch and presented some really interesting theories - which may not be so right, but still nice to know :]

I'll appreciate every help!
